Pumpkin, Chocolate Chip Pancakes


This morning we made some pancakes. They were a delicious way to start the day. I topped mine with walnuts and pure maple syrup. I'm salivating just thinking about them.

Recipe:
  • 1 Cup whole wheat pastry flour
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • 1 tablespoon ground flax seed
  • 1/3 Cup  + 1 tsp canned pumpkin
  • 1 tablespoon maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3/4 Cup plant based milk
  • 1/4 Cup water
  • 1/2 Cup grain sweetened chocolate chips
