This morning we made some pancakes. They were a delicious way to start the day. I topped mine with walnuts and pure maple syrup. I'm salivating just thinking about them.
Recipe:
- 1 Cup whole wheat pastry flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1 tablespoon ground flax seed
- 1/3 Cup + 1 tsp canned pumpkin
- 1 tablespoon maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3/4 Cup plant based milk
- 1/4 Cup water
- 1/2 Cup grain sweetened chocolate chips
