Easy, Fail Proof Bread

Recipe adapted from my friend Rebekah's bread recipe

There is nothing better than a slice of homemade bread. And, until recently, bread making has always been a daunting task for me. But, this bread is so easy and only takes a total of 1.5 hours to make from start to finish. Make it, I dare you!

Recipe:
21/3 C whole wheat pastry flour
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp yeast
2 tsp molasses
1 C lukewarm water

  1. Proof your yeast (go HERE to learn about proofing yeast)
  2. While your yeast is chewing on the molasses, mix together your flour and salt.
  3. Pour the proofed yeast into the flour mixture.
  4. Mix until the dough becomes slightly elastic and leaves the sides of the bowl
  5. Place in a lightly greased loaf pan and let double in size
  6. Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes

Enjoy!
